USC investigating its education school for inaccuracies in submissions to U.S. News & World Report rankings
The University of Southern California is pulling its Rossier School of Education from U.Due south. News & World Written report'due south next annual ranking of all-time graduate schools afterward finding "a history of inaccuracies" in data provided to the magazine, the L.A. Times reported Wed.
Details on what information was allegedly inaccurate, the Times reported, were not immediately available. University officials said they were looking back at v years of submissions.
"USC officials take informed the U.S. Department of Didactics and accreditors of the situation," the Times reported it was told past Charles Zukoski, USC's provost and senior vice president for academic diplomacy.
USC hired Jones Day, an contained law business firm, to investigate the Rossier School's by submissions to U.S. News & World Written report, Zukoski said. The Rossier Schoolhouse was ranked No. xi in the almost contempo ranking of all-time education schools.
