APPLYING FOR A CROSS-REGISTRATION CLASS

To apply for a cross-registration course, you must complete the Education City Cross Registration Request form.

This is the ONLY form that will be accepted and it must be completed online with your digital signature. Old and/or handwritten forms will not be accepted by the Office of Records. In addition, you must submit a copy of your passport with the registration request form. Forms will not be accepted unless forms are complete and accurate, and include the passport copy.

Registration at the university in which you plan to enroll is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Academic Services Office will begin accepting forms by email on Sunday, 3 Dec., at 8 a.m. Processing and approval is based on student classification, date/time received and other factors. The approved cross-registration form will be sent to you by email, which you can then email to the host university to be registered for the course.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CROSS REGISTERED STUDENTS

Reminder: By enrolling at another university in Education City, you are agreeing to follow their university rules and policies, which includes attending classes even if Texas A&M at Qatar is closed. Not all universities follow the same academic calendar and you must adhere to the requirements of the host institution.

Both the schedule of classes and course descriptions are posted where available. If they are not posted you may check the university's website. All courses are subject to space availability and pre-requisites.

NOTES:

ENGL 303/388 from VCUQatar is no longer accepted as a substituted course for ENGL 210 as of fall 2012.
Check with your Texas A&M at Qatar advisor before registering for any course
Students must complete the cross-registration checklist prior to submission of Education City cross-registration form.
